Join guest teacher Adam Hocke (USA E-RYT500) for these special advanced workshops.

0930-1230: Holding Centre: Advanced Inversions & Asymmetrical Postures

Scorpion pose, dancer pose and full king pigeon pose demand a precise combination of technique, flexibility, and strength.

Most importantly, they require a focused connection to core, breath, and centre.

To get there we will flow through a thorough preparation of body & mind, work through modifications to suit different body types and make these challenging postures (and a few surprise ones!) accessible.

This workshop is suitable for those with happy backs and comfort in being upside down with the assistance of a partner or the wall. Some practice experience is useful for this workshop.

1400-1700: Trust & Surrender: CPD Partner Backbends and Inversions

Learn to trust, give & receive support for postures to include upward-facing bow, handstand, scorpion and group drop-backs (don’t be frightened, anyone can do it this way!).

Beginning with a strong rhythmic flow to warm up our bodies up & focus our minds, we will have a generous amount of time to explore efficient and fun partner practice.

Guidance will be given on how to properly assist these postures and safely work in groups of two or three.

This workshop is suitable for all levels and you don't need to come with a partner, one will be provided for you!

Join Adam for a fun, partner 3hr CPD workshop, at £30.
If you'd like to book both workshops with Adam ('Holding Centre: CPD Advanced Inversions & Asymmetrical Postures' at 9.30am) at £55, please select the £55 pricing option at checkout to book BOTH workshops.

Please let us know in advance is you require a YAUSA CPD certificate, so Adam can prepare one for you.
